GrrCON Cyber Security Summit and Hacker Conference

GrrCON is an information security and hacking conference that provides the Information Security community with a fun atmosphere in which to come together and engage with like-minded people from around the globe. We keep GrrCON small, with around 2,500 attendance, to allow us to provide those things other events leave out. Whether you are a Fortune 500 executive, security researcher, industry professional, student, or hacker, you will find something for yourself at GrrCON.

We provide three+ presentation tracks, in-con workshops, and a solutions arena to ensure you get the most out of the event.

Executive Summit tickets provide access to the Executive Summit and the full GrrCON Conference. A separate ticket is required to attend the Executive Summit in any capacity.

GrrCON attendance provides 14 CPE credits!

Car Hacking Village

Brought to you by CANBUSHACK team, conference attendees will get hands on experience in hacking automotive technologies. Not only will this village be openly available to the public, but there will also be a huge opportunity to learn the art of hacking vehicles. There is no formal agenda setup, rather a table with a few automotive components and benches for attendees to interact with.

Open Source Intelligence CTF

The CTF anyone with an internet connection and a dream can play. Find real information on real targets, earn points, and see how your recon skills stack up. Registrations run all day Thursday at the CG Silvers Consulting booth in the Exhibitor Hall. The contest will run Friday during the day, with an exclusive winner’s panel Friday afternoon featuring all 3 top teams divulging their best OSINT techniques on the stage.

Lock Pick Village

You know the drill.. Pick locks.. etc.. etc…

We typically have some new fun things for you to mess with, like a car boot, a realtor door lock box, an actual car door, and the steel cage! Details on the Lock Pick Village contest will be unveiled in the village. It probably has something to do with Fuzzy pink handcuffs and an inflatable donkey-pegasus hybrid…

Prizes will also be announced at the village.

Hak4Kidz Village

Hak4Kidz is an event by ethical hackers and Information Security professionals dedicated to bringing the educational and communal benefits of white hat hacking conferences to children and young adults. We accomplish this mission by putting our collective expertise and passion on display for the attendees to interact with us at their will. At GrrCON, we will have an open village for kids with their chaperone(s) to interact with our hacker and security STEHM stations to expand and enlighten them on their technical interests. For innovation to perpetuate, today’s young users must be exposed to the bigger picture of how we got here and to help realize their potential.

Once again, we will have multiple Battle Tech Mech Warrior pods on site for your entertainment through lunchtime on Friday.

Dungeons & Dragons Village

Have you ever wanted to play D&D but haven’t found anyone to play with? Have you heard of it but don’t know what it’s about? Well, join us for a fun introduction to the wonderful world of RPGs. This game will feature up to 6 players at a time and take you through a classic dungeon crawl.

Walk-ups only. Games will restart every 60 to 90 minutes(depending on the dice rolls). There will be dice and pre-generated characters to use. You don’t need to bring anything but your nerdiness.
